Detailed Itinerary

DAY 1 : HO CHI MINH CITY -  CAT TIEN NATIONAL PARK

We depart for Dong Nai province and pass through the fishing village of La Nga. In the Cat Tien National Park, we cross the Dong Nai river by boat. Check in at the Cat Tien Jungle Lodge.

Lunch. Then you have the opportunity to relax at this beautiful place surrounded by nature. The afternoon is devoted to a tour of the Bear Reserve, where over a 100 years old bears live. We walk 3km through the forest to discover the flora of the park: Lagerstroemia, forests with trees that are over 700 years old including Assam Cycas and a giant cedar that is over 400 years old and has roots that are over 10 meter long. Walk back through the reserve. Dinner. In the evening, a 4x4 will take you through the forest to the Ta Lai  village to explore animals at night.

DAY 2 : CAT TIEN NATIONAL PARK - DA LAT

In the morning we visit Bau Sau - a Ramsar (wetland protection treaty) reserve. On the way, after 9km by car, you can enjoy the amazing natural landscapes. We do some birdwatching on the lake from our boat.

Lunch. Departure in the afternoon to Da Lat. Check in hotel. In the evening you can take part in a free city tour.

DAY 3 : DA LAT

Visit in the morning the Domaine De Marie church, located on the Mai Anh hills (also known as Cherry Church because of its characteristic pink color). We visit the Buddhist Institute Truc Lam, it offers a magnificent panorama of the Phung Hoang hill and the Tuyên Lâm lake. Lunch.

We take the road to the clay village, where we explore original clay monuments, especially a  basalt house that is listed in the Guinness Book of Vietnam. We conquest the Lang Biang mountain by jeep and participate in a Gong show, which is a popular music instrument of the ethnic groups in the Highlands. Return to hotel. Overnight at hotel.

DAY 4 : DA LAT

Departure to the Datanla waterfall. The guide explains how to use the equipment for canyoning. We do abseiling under the waterfall with a height of 15m. You can swim and try the 5m high natural water slide in this waterfall.

Lunch. We continue canyoning and climb to a height of 25 meters before you can jump 11 meters into the waterfall. To finish the day, we trek 20 minutes from the waterfall to the bus station. Transfer. Dinner. Overnight at hotel.

DAY 5 : DALAT - HO CHI MINH CITY

Departure to the airport for the flight to Ho Chi Minh City.
