Day 1 : Ha Noi
Departure for the Tan Son Nhat international airport to take a flight to Ha Noi. Arrive to Noi Bai international airport. Transfer to Ha Noi. Lunch at a local restaurant in Ha Noi. Check in hotel.
The afternoon is devoted to the walk at the Lake of the Restored Sword, a place that lies in the heart of Hanoi. Visit the Temple of the Jade Mountain, located at the shore of the lake. Take a cyclo to get around the old neighborhoods. A water puppet show awaits you in the evening. Overnight in Ha Noi.
Day 2 : Ha Noi - Lao Cai
Visit the Ho Chi Minh Complex, containing the mausoleum of Ho Chi Minh, the first nation’s President. The One Pillar Pagoda is also lied in this complex, whose origins date back to the founding of the city in the 11th century. Then, visit the Temple Of Literature And Imperial Academy, the first and oldest university of Vietnam, dating back to the 11th century. Lunch, take a rest.
Continue to visit the impressive Museum Of Ethnology, the finest museum in Vietnam dedicated to Vietnam’s 54 ethnic minorities. Dinner.
Transfer to train station for the night train to Lao Cai. Stay overnight on train.
Day 3 : Lao Cai – Sapa
Arrival at the Lao Cai train station. Transfer to Sapa. Check in hotel. Visit the silver falls at an altitude of 1900m relative to sea level. Ascent of the Ham Rong Mountain to the "gate of heaven," where you have a great view of the whole city. Discover the orchid garden. Lunch. In the afternoon we visit the Cat Cat village, a typical village of the H'Mong ethnicity. Discover the daily life and culture of this minority. Dinner. On Saturday evenings you can witness the spectacle of the Love Market, where guys and girls from all villages come to Lao Cai to meet one another and maybe find a partner. They talk, sing and play different games according to their ethnic groups’ tradition. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 4 : Sapa - Lao Cai - Ha Noi
Embark on a lovely walk that will take us along buffalo paths and trails and through several hill tribe villages of Lao Cai and Ta Van, home to H’mong, and Dzay people. Stop for a picnic lunch on the way at a family in Ta Van village. Return to Sapa, transfer to the train station for night train back Hanoi. Overnight on train.
Day 5: Ha Noi – Ha Long
Transfer from Hanoi to the Ha Long City. Take a refurbished wooden sailing junk for a cruise through the limestone cliffs and emerald waters of Ha Long Bay – one of 7 World natural heritages was recognized by UNESCO in 1994. Lunch with the local seafoods. Drop anchor for the night nearby a remote island. Overnight on board.
Day 6: Ha Long - Ha Noi
Enjoy the sunrise in the early morning. Have breakfast. Move around the bay and find more secluded areas such as: Fishing Village; Ngon Tay (Fingers), Ga Choi (Fighting Cocks), Lu Huong (Incense Burner), Ba Hang and Cho Da (Stone Dog) Islets … The last destination is the Sung Sot Cave – one of the most famous caves in Ha Long.
Return to the main harbor to transfert to the train station. Departure for Ha Noi. Overnight at Ha Noi.
Day 7: Ha Noi - Ho Chi Minh
Have free time for leisures and transfer to the Noi Bai airport for a flight to Ho Chi Minh city.
