Detailed Itinerary

DAY 1 : HA NOI

Departure for the Tan Son Nhat international airport to take a flight to Ha Noi. Arrive to Noi Bai international airport. Transfer to Ha Noi. Lunch at a local restaurant in Ha Noi. Check in hotel.

The afternoon is devoted to the walk at the Lake of the Restored Sword, a place that lies in the heart of Hanoi. Visit the Temple of the Jade Mountain, located at the shore of the lake. Take a cyclo to get around the old neighborhoods. Overnight in Ha Noi.

DAY 2 : HA NOI - LAO CAI

Visit the Ho Chi Minh Complex, containing the mausoleum of Ho Chi Minh, the first nation’s President. The One Pillar Pagoda is also lied in this complex, whose origins date back to the founding of the city in the 11th century. Then, visit the Temple Of Literature And Imperial Academy, the first and oldest university of Vietnam, dating back to the 11th century. Lunch, take a rest.

Continue to visit the impressive Museum Of Ethnology, the finest museum in Vietnam dedicated to Vietnam’s 54 ethnic minorities. Dinner.

Departure for Lao Cai.

DAY 3 : LAO CAI – SAPA

Arrival at  Lao Cai, continue to Sapa. Check in hotel. Visit the silver falls at an altitude of 1900m relative to sea level. Ascent of the Ham Rong Mountain to the "gate of heaven," where you have a great view of the whole city. Discover the orchid garden.

Lunch. In the afternoon we visit the Cat Cat village, a typical village of the H'Mong ethnicity. Discover the daily life and culture of this minority.

Dinner. On Saturday evenings you can witness the spectacle of the Love Market, where guys and girls from all villages come to Lao Cai to meet one another and maybe find a partner. They talk, sing and play different games according to their ethnic groups’ tradition. Overnight at the hotel.

DAY 4 : SAPA - LAO CAI - HA NOI

Embark on a lovely walk that will take us along buffalo paths and trails and through several hill tribe villages of Lao Cai and Ta Van, home to H’mong, and Dzay people. Stop for a picnic lunch on the way at a family in Ta Van village. Return to Sapa, transfer to the train station for night train back Hanoi. Overnight on train.

DAY 5: HA NOI – HA LONG

In the morning, pick up and departure for  Ha Long Bay.

12:30 Upon arrival at Vinashin Tourist Harbor, You are welcomed at our waiting room before enjoying the cruise.

Embark. Enjoy welcome drink. Check in your cabin. Start cruising among famous Islets (Indochina studio, Am Islet…) of Bai Tu Long Bay, the wildest beauty with the panoramic natural views.

Explore the well-hidden Thien Canh Son Cave. Treasure the wonderful beauty of Bai Tu Long Bay at sunset; admire the striking islands and islets.

16:30  Enjoy kayaking/swimming at Cong Do or relaxing on the cruise (expense personal). Onboard the vessel, surrounded by a stunning, attend our chef’s cooking demonstration and try your skills in the art of traditional Vietnamese cooking (spring roll) on the sundeck.

Dinner is served in the restaurant. You can enjoy the charm of Bai Tu Long Bay at night.

DAY 6:  HA LONG - HA NOI

06:15 Morning exercises on the Sun-deck. Have breakfast.

07:30 Visit Vung Vieng village - the famous fishing farm by bamboo boat and discover life of local people living on the surface of Halong Bay. Pack up the luggage and check out of the cabin.

Enjoy the brunch in the restaurant while cruising back to Vinashin tourist harbor. Disembark.

In the afternoon, we come back to Hanoi. Arrval Hanoi at night.

End of excursion
